Our Team
Angell Qu (she/her) is a sustainability professional, researcher, and community organizer based in Vancouver. She works in building performance and energy efficiency, with broader interests in climate change, energy transition, environmental policy, and community-based climate action.
Angell has been actively involved in youth-led climate and environmental initiatives in both Canada and China. Her experience spans biodiversity conservation, climate education, youth engagement, and nature-based wellbeing. She has worked and volunteered with organizations including UNDP China, Natural Resources Defense Council, CPAWS-BC’s Young Leaders in Conservation Program, and the Climate Wellness Network. She also co-founded the North–South Climate Dialogue, an initiative exploring how language, culture, and different perspectives shape climate communication.
Angell is particularly interested in how youth-led organizations can turn passion and ideas into sustainable, long-term impact. She is here to explore how stronger organizational capacity, supportive networks, intergenerational learning, and collaboration can help youth leaders and organizations thrive without burning out.
Marty Donatelli (he/him) teaches psychology at Camosun College. His specialties are social psychology, positive psychology, climate action psychology, and interpersonal relations. He is also a member of the Camosun College Climate Coalition.
Eddie Campbell (he/him) began his career supporting adults with developmental disabilities, newcomers to the City of Richmond, youth at risk, and later, incarcerated men and women.
During his thirty-five years as an Academic Advisor with The Open Learning Agency, The Technical University of BC and the University of the Fraser Valley, he has served on committees focusing on institutional ethics, equity, diversity and inclusion, improving working the conditions of employees, students at risk, indigenous and international students.
Now in retirement, he is passionate and energized about the opportunities that exist right now to divest ourselves of the fossil fuel industry, to invest in climate and social justice, and in our vast social capital. He is deeply grateful for and inspired by the work of Libby Davies, Naomi and Seth Klein, Astra Taylor, Leah Hunt-Hendrix, Desmond Tutu, and Martin Luther King J....to name a few.
